Hey you all... first off, I have to send a HUGE "thank you" your way for taking the time to stop by. If you received an invitation from me through newsletter, myspace, facebook (or anywhere else on the web) to join me here it's because I TRULY appreciate the online connection we have forged over time and don't want to lose you as a listener!!
Since 2004, myspace has been my main means of keeping my music accessible to the world of music lovers but, I have officially reached my breaking point with excessive spamming and it's lack of a "personal connection". The end result: joining the Fifty100.com community and streamlining getting this music to YOU while offering incentives on spreading the word. Let's be real here, right... folks aren't really buying music that much anymore (and unfortunately, this does not exclude myself)! So, if you're going to download... why not direct you to one place and offer you more credit toward your downloads when you let people know about the great music you're hearing?
Simply put, when you download music here as a fan and someone discovers a great song worth downloading and follows through, you receive a "promoting credit" that you can apply towards future downloads!!! Also, no worries on being inundated with the cyber world of bedroom musicians out there because folks on here are SERIOUS about their music and the site is limited to 100 artists among FIFTY genres... hence the name

As an artist, I struggle with the fact that the age of "new album self-discovery" seems to be long gone. The process of sifting through stacks of albums/cds at a store until you find something worth taking home and getting acquainted with is a distant memory but, it doesn't mean for a minute that great music is not out here being created every moment!! We artists just have to do OUR part in ensuring it's available to you and encourage the sharing process...
